Job Description

Assemble and install various types of ducts (e.g., sheet metal, fiberglass, flexible) and related components like grills, diffusers, and dampers.
Measure and cut sheet metal to specifications for fabricating duct sections and other components.
Perform repairs on duct systems, conduct leakage tests, and troubleshoot issues to ensure proper airflow and efficiency.
Seal joints to prevent air leakage and install insulation materials for proper efficiency.
Work with supervisors, engineers, electricians, and plumbers to ensure the HVAC system integrates correctly with other building systems.
Adhere to all safety standards, building codes, and company procedures.
Maintain records of completed work, materials used, and any necessary follow-ups.

Candidate Requirements

Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Proficiency with both hand and power tools used for duct fabrication and installation.
Knowledge of different duct types (GI, PI, flexible) and installation techniques.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical fitness to work in various conditions, including at heights or in confined spaces.
