Fluent in both Arabic and English, the Communications Specialist is responsible for providing support on all day-to-day tasks for retainer and project-based clients including the execution of communications plans and programs, coordinating with other support team members to ensure the successful completion of each task and liaising with the clients if required as well as working according to TRACCS’ standards, systems and procedures at all times.
The Communications Specialist should be able to carry out all routine communications and tasks for all assigned accounts under the supervision of a senior manager or director, must attend all client meetings to ensure that work is progressing as planned, make sure all deliverables are being completed and deadlines are being met. He/She is also required to actively participate in brainstorming sessions for new ideas and contribute to the overall performance of his/her team.
He/she is responsible for supporting on the implementation of media campaigns, and building long-term relations with local media in the local market.
The Communications Specialist should have:
· At least 1 year of experience in the communications profession
· The ability to execute all tasks assigned promptly and with attention to detail
· Excellent verbal and written communications, and research skills
· Fundamental knowledge of the communications industry in the local market
· The ability to work under pressure and deliver quality work
