Job Description
One of the highly reputed University in Bahrain, requires Assistant / Associate / Professor in Mechanical Engineering for the academic year 2022/2023.
Candidate should have expertise in one or more of the following areas of the Mechanical Engineering:
Thermo-Fluids:
- Thermodynamics
- Fluid Mechanics
- Heat transfer
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Numerical Analysis
Solid Mechanics:
- Control and Vibration
- Solid Mechanics
- Mechanical Design
- Engineering Drawing
Material and Manufacture:
- Engineering Management
- Engineering Economics
- Operation Research
- Manufacture Processes
- Material Science
Job Profile
- Candidate should have a PhD from a recognized university as relevant to the field of specialization for the positions.
- Candidate should have experience in teaching for at least three years at a recognized university, in the field of specialization
- Must have the ability to teach in the disciplines of Mechanical Engineering Department (as relevant to the position); preferably from the basic level to the highest final Graduation level and Postgraduate level, in addition to specialization.
- Candidate should have published research articles in high quality international-refereed journals (e.g., Scopus Indexed) related to the field of specialization.
- Must have experience in teaching (At least three years for Assistant Professor and five years for Professor and Associate Professor).
- Having practical experience as a mechanical engineer would be an added qualification.
