One of the highly reputed University in UAE invites suitable applications for Assistant / Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering to join the department in Fall 2022. The successful candidate is expected to teach and develop undergraduate and postgraduate courses, establish a productive research and, supervise M.Sc. and PhD students, and participate in committees at the Department, College and University levels. Particular emphasis is for candidates with a background in Biotechnology and Process Control.
Job Profile
Prospective Candidate should have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with a strong track record in research. 1) A good publication record in reputable journals 2) Ability to secure research funds, both internally and externally 3) Ability to develop and effectively teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses 4) Strong communication skills Assistant Professor – Minimum of 3 years experience relevant to the position and proven research potential. Associate Professor -Minimum of 8 years teaching experience or postgraduate research experience, out of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
