We are seeking a HR Manager to join our rapidly growing workforce in Dubai. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will plan, implement, and evaluate various human resources policies, programs, and practices that foster growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness. A strong candidate will have a good understanding of both the local UAE HR legislative framework as well as of working within a global, multi-cultural company with a HQ outside of UAE.
Responsibilities:
Manage the local Human Resources function with the focus on driving growth and supporting our strategic business objectives
Provide direction and consultation on UAE HR legislative framework as well as any emerging HR and Recruitment trends and practices
Continuously research, developing, and updating our policies, procedures, and guidelines
Oversee the recruitment of new team members, including updating job descriptions, conducting interviews, providing feedback, making offers and issuing contractual documents
Develop various metrics and reporting necessary to track and ensure productivity and effectiveness of our local recruiting efforts
Liaise with new joiners and managers to ensure smooth induction of new staff, including development of various onboarding and training programs
Manage HR administration for New joiners and Leavers and ensuring timely payroll reporting to the payroll team
Administer compensation and benefits and managing record keeping including bonus and commission payments and other employee benefits
Track employee attendance and annual leave and coordinating with managers and payroll as required
Manage probation reviews and annual appraisal process
Provide continuous guidance and support to the Line managers on HR related issues
Communicate and enforce our organizational values throughout the workforce
All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
Requirements:
4+ years of HR Generalist experience required, ideally within a financial service, FinTech or technology setting in UAE
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources or a related field
Solid knowledge of UAE HR legislative framework as well as the UAE visa processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
Proven leadership, project management and time management skills
Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives
Solid business acumen, management reporting, and problem-solving skills
Able to exercise sound judgment and observe the highest degree of confidentiality
Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Familiarity with ATS and HRIS such as Greenhouse and BambooHR
Adaptable self-starter, able to work independently and succeed in a fast-paced work environment
