Job Purpose: To act as the subject matter expert for the systems used in dnata Technical Services (dTS) to ensure their optimal usage in supporting all the sections of dTS operations. Plan: – Effectively monitors the performance and usage of the systems across dTS; align system workflow with business processes to enhance overall efficiency. – Coordinates system upgrades, changes and planning accordingly with all system users; evaluates the impact of planned and unplanned system outages and develops contingency plans and communicate to relevant stakeholders to minimise the impact on operations. – Evaluates the system access requirements across all the sections of dTS and ensure that the accesses and licenses are managed cost effectively and in compliance with corporate guidance. Deploy: – Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to develop system related trainings and upskilling to maximise full benefits from the systems. – Co-ordinates with relevant stakeholders for UAT and change management process to ensure effective system rollouts. Lead: – Supports system related projects by identifying business requirements and functional specifications. – Supports in developing dTS system technology roadmap. Monitors system related business case benefits and support corrective actions as required – Represents dnata Technical Services in community working groups to champion the system and suggest enhancements, supports system vendor management; liaises with EGIT, stakeholders for systems functional and operational efficiency. – Liaises with internal and external stake holders and provide necessary support related to data, reports and any other relevant queries related to dTS systems. Execute: – Manages all system administration related to dTS operations, including but not limited to, providing or amending access, configurations, rules, updates etc. – Provides data and reports for various purposes and is responsible for providing monthly Financial and Operational reports for dTS, internal and external customers highlighting any variations to dTS Management. – Analyses data provided by systems to enable management to make data driven decisions. – Assists in Annual budgeting process, by providing data and reports as required. – Monitors and audits the system to check and identify gaps in capturing all relevant information.
Qualifications & Experience: Qualification: – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (automotive, electrical, electronic, mechanical or IT). – OR Diploma in automotive, electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering Experience: – Bachelor Degree Holder: 4-6 years of experience within a large maintenance organization, ideally with subject matter expertise in engineering management systems, maintenance planning and scheduling. – Diploma Holder: 6-8 years of experience within a large maintenance organization, ideally with subject matter expertise on engineering management systems, maintenance planning and scheduling Knowledge/Skills: – Knowledge and experience in a vehicle telematics system, ideally in an airport environment – Must have experience in using data to analyse, diagnose, spot trends and anomalies to drive decision making – Excellent communication and presentation skills – Experience of working successfully with multiple complex stakeholders – Knowledge and experience in a vehicle telematics system, ideally in an airport environment – Must have theoretical and practical knowledge of equipment, operations, maintenance and engineering. – Ability to read and understand manufacturer specifications and maintenance requirements. – English Level5 – Proficient IT, Computer Literacy and MS Office applications – Safety Awareness – Must possess or be capable of obtaining a UAE driving license.
