The British School of Kuwait Hiring for Tutor Of Upper Strings Full Time

The British School of Kuwait (BSK) is renowned for its highly motivated, able and well behaved students, supportive parents, superb resources and outstanding teachers. We are seeking a qualified and committed Tutor of Upper Strings to join our Performance Music Team. Applicants must be fluent English speaking graduates and hold a bachelors degree in Music. The tutor should have a high level of string playing, and be a specialist on the Violin. The ability to teach Viola would be desirable. Experience of working with young musicians and ensembles is essential. The successful candidate should be able to offer tuition of violin to all levels including higher grades and diploma level. Experience of teaching and preparing students for ABRSM examinations is essential.
The successful candidate would be expected to:

• Provide one to one and small group tuition
• Play the piano to a satisfactory level
• Lead chamber music ensembles
• Support school performances, events and competitions
• Contribute to extra-curricular activities and support the wider school community
