We are presently in the process of hiring the above vacancy within a prestigious company located in Abu Dhabi.

Job Purpose :

The Chief Airport Officer holds a senior executive position and is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple airports within a corporate portfolio. This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and management to ensure efficient, safe, and profitable airport operations. Given the high-level nature of the position, the responsibilities are broad and encompass various aspects of airport management and corporate governance.

Responsibility:

• Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for airport operations in alignment with the overall corporate objectives. Providing direction and leadership to ensure that the airports under management meet performance, safety, security, and customer service standards.
• Overseeing the management of day-to-day airport operations across various locations, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Managing the financial performance of the airports, including budgeting, financial planning, and cost control. Ensuring that the airports operate profitably and contribute positively to the corporate bottom line.
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies at both national and international levels. This includes staying abreast of changes in aviation regulations and implementing necessary adjustments.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including airlines, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and local communities. Representing the corporate interests in negotiations and partnerships
• Leading a team of senior airport SMEs, providing guidance, setting performance standards, and fostering professional development and growth.
• Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of robust safety and security protocols across all airports. Ensuring compliance with international safety standards and best practices.
• Championing initiatives to enhance passenger experience and customer service across the airport network.
• Driving the adoption of new technologies and innovative practices to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance passenger experience.
• Providing leadership and strategic direction during crises or emergencies, ensuring effective response and communication.
