Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced VMWare Tanzu Resident Engineer to join our dynamic team at Tech Array. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of various technologies including Tanzu Kubernetes Clusters, Harbor registry, and other related tools. You will be instrumental in implementing, managing, and optimizing our containerization and DevOps processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage Tanzu Kubernetes Clusters: Hosting and running containerized applications, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
2. Work with Harbor Registry: Managing image for containers as part of the DevOps process.
3. Integrate Tanzu Build Service: Utilizing Tanzu Build Service for DevOps pipeline integration.
4. Implement Keycloak: Oversee open-source identity and access management within the organization.
5. Handle Vulnerability Scanning: Using Trivy for identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
6. Backup & Restore Management: Work with Velero & Minio, interim and long-term solutions such as Commvault.
7. Administer ALB L4 Load Balancer: Ensure efficient distribution of network traffic.
8. Manage OS Level: Administration of Ubuntu OS at Supervisor cluster level and Photon OS at the worker node level.
9. Oversee Fluent bit Application Log: Utilizing Fluent bit for storing and managing applications logs, including integration with Splunk.
10. Provide Technical Support: Offering expert technical guidance and support to internal teams.
11. Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Working closely with development, operations, security, and other departments to ensure cohesive execution of objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with the technologies mentioned, particularly VMWare Tanzu. (Must)
• Strong knowledge of DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Ubuntu and Photon OS.
• Familiarity with backup and restore procedures, including Velero, Minio, and Commvault.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with NSX AVI
