Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed eye examinations and utilize diagnostic tools to assess, diagnose, and treat ocular disorders.
Formulate and implement treatment plans individualized to each patients unique needs and conditions.
Perform surgical procedures, including cataract surgery and laser eye surgeries, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery and outcomes for patients.
Educate patients regarding their eye health, treatment options, and preventive measures to maintain visual wellness.
Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and comply with healthcare regulations and standards.
Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay current with advancements in ophthalmology.
Medical degree with a specialization in Ophthalmology.
Current and valid medical license to practice as an ophthalmologist.
At least 5 years of clinical experience in a Consultant Ophthalmologist role.
Demonstrated proficiency in various surgical procedures and a strong understanding of ocular diseases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Strong analytical abilities and sound judgment in diagnosing and managing patients eye health.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
