Role Summary: We’re looking for a Fresh Food Commercial Specialist to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store “tMart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq!

The fresh food department includes Produce, Deli, Bakery, Meat & Poultry, Fish & Seafood, and Ready to eat.

What’s On Your Plate?

Assists Fresh Food Category Manager in:

• Collecting retail audit from competition
• Visit to tMart stores to monitor freshness and quality
• Visit the central market and decide on item selection
• Work closely with the demand planners and the suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of fresh food products.
• Working on reports
• Working on admin related duties like updating price changes, content update on the app etc
• Following up with suppliers on listings, pricing, product availability
• Any other ad hoc requests from the manager

What you need to be successful

What Did We Order?

• You have at least 3+ years of experience in progressive development and management of multiple fresh food categories, matured by working for large retailers (FMCG), in an international setting.
• You have technical fresh food knowledge that enables you to provide your manager with accurate information
• Has decent commercial knowledge such as profitability, margin calculations and feasibility and benchmarking knowledge.
• You are very detail-oriented, structured and know how to prioritize — you consider yourself as someone who delivers solutions and not bottlenecks to be solved.
