Speedo Swim Squads, the premiere swimming academy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is looking for an experienced Learn to Swim Manager.

Speedo Swim Squads is led by Caroline Potel, former France National Junior Teach Coach, and we are seeking a Learn to Swim Manager who possesses incredible leadership, planning, communication, and organizational skills and who is able to dynamically movtivate a team.

Job Summary: The Learn to Swim Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a swimming program designed to teach children and adults how to swim across all of Speedo Swim Squads venues. This includes creating curriculum and lesson plans, supervising instructors, managing staff scheduling, targets, budgets, and resources, ensuring safety standards are met, and coordinating with stakeholders such as parents, community groups, and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum and lesson plans for the swimming program
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for program participants and staff
• Develop and manage staff scheduling, program budgets and resources, including facilities, equipment, and supplies
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents, community groups, and regulatory bodies
• Serve as Venue Lead and deliver swim lessons as necessary; contact hours to be agreed with Management
• Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements
• Monitor program registration and attendance, and ensure timely and accurate communication with program participants and stakeholders
• Ensure that program facilities and equipment are well-maintained and in good working order
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the program and increase enrollment
• Collaborate with other program managers and stakeholders to coordinate program schedules and resources
• Hire, train, and supervise a team of swimming instructors and assistants

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in sports management, recreation management, or a related field
• Certification in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid
• At least 3-5 years of experience in managing a learn to swim program or similar aquatic program
• Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and supervise a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with program participants, parents, and stakeholders
• Knowledge of swimming techniques and best practices for teaching swimming to children and adults
• Familiarity with regulations and safety standards related to aquatic programs
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
