The responsibilities of an Engineering Lab Technician include12:
• Preparing test reports to document methods, results, and conclusions.
• Conducting experiments on novel products or components to acquire service and performance data.
• Compiling, analyzing, and reducing data to detect and verify critical phenomena.
• Fabricating test fixtures, preparing and conducting bench and field tests.
• Defining and procuring necessary equipment for testing.
• Lab Technicians are responsible for receiving, testing, analyzing, recording, and reporting results of their tests
