Role Summary: This is a full-time on-site role for Risk Manager for enthusiastic candidates located in Muscat. The role is primarily responsible for managing day to day affairs of Risk Management, monitoring of various risk limit, support to CEO and Head Office in effective implementation of risk strategy. Role involved analyzing credit risk, operational risk, and market risk to protect bank’s assets.

Roles and responsibilities: Preparation/review Market Risk Policy, ALM Policy, Operational Risk policy, Credit Policy etc& vetting these policies in the light of local regulations/ RBI/ SBI guidelines.

To chair and convene Risk Management Committee meeting.

Monitoring various limits like exposure limit, day light limits, overnight position & other mid-office functions of Treasury & Investment, Derivative limits.

Conducting stress testing on portfolio of banks.

Review of disclosure, VaR, Valuation, IFRS 9 policy

To prepare report containing the exceptions and the reasons for these exceptions and report the same to RH/CH/CEO

Position requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

·        Experience in banking industry with expertise in Risk Management

·        Knowledge of regulatory requirements and banking procedure.
