Job Description
SCP is looking to hire an IT professional. The selected candidate(s) will be asked to evaluate the design and deployment of new IT systems and services; develop policies and procedures; and help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes in order to enable our clients to make intelligent business decisions and merger/acquisitions. The position will require part-time work (approximately 10 hours a month) completed from the candidates home location. The interview process requires a series of personal interviews at our main office in Boston, or in an overseas location based on the candidate and recruiter’s travel schedules. All travel expenses are reimbursed. Salary/Benefits: $1000-$3000/mo plus travel expenses and performance bonuses.
Skills
The position requires strong critical thinking; experience working in IT operations; and excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and system administration, databases and data storage systems and phone systems. Please note we are not looking for individuals working in call centers or customer service specialties. Please see the ‘contributors’ section of our website for additional information. At this time we are interested in individuals with an expertise in the developing world, particularly the Middle East and Latin America. We will consider applicants on a case-by-case basis per the needs of the clients.
