The Job
The Kids Area Instructor is expected to direct the children’s class or show for Nutty Scientist. The activities will be provided in the form of a written script prior to the show to learn and master the content.

Responsibilities

Present the show with confidence. Demand immediate and constant participation from the audience.
Have a great sense of humor and have the least sense of self consciousness.
Be theatrical, joke and make strong noises when performing activities.
Adjust the intensity and style of the show to the appropriate level and according to the event. Exaggerate gestures, tone of voice, and volume to enhance fun and build curiosity.
Manage supplies and products with confidence and without risk. Appropriately use all supplies with care. Return, clean and pack them as received once the activity is over.
Follow accident prevention and safety rules. Pay attention to any precautions indicated in the scripts and use common sense.
Capture children’s attention. Have high energy levels to give the kids what they expect.
Demonstrate curious phenomena.

Ideal Candidate
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Experience in teaching or theatrical performance is a plus with 1-2 years’ experience in similar role
Proficient in Arabic and English to be able to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.
