Job Summary:
The Sales Manager – Leisure is responsible for the successful handling of groups involving 10 or more guest rooms from the Leisure Europe Market. Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales – MICE/ Senior Convention Sales Manager, implements all sales activities and maximizes business opportunities in his / her specific area of responsibility and ensures effective communication with clients and efficient coordination with departments concerned.

Implements all sales action plans related to the respective market (by segment and geographical locations) as outlined in the marketing plan.
Actively participates in achieving the departmental goals which contribute to the Marketing budget
Closely monitors accounts revenue and business production for Leisure accounts.
Prepares proposals and contracts for lead inquiries received
Conducts site inspections for group organizers and clients
Follows through from negotiation until hand over to the Events Management team upon confirmation and receipt of the signed contract
Liaises with clients and gives professional advice on set-ups, food and beverage, rooms, and planning of events
Established good working relationships with internal customers (other departments) and external customers (clients, event contractors, suppliers, etc
