Job Summary
We are looking for a Moroccan Chef whose focus will be on delivering exclusive Moroccan cuisine to the highest standards and quality. Drive the quality and taste of food at the restaurant creating very high guest delight.
As a Chef de Cusine we rely on you to
- Have a creative approach in designing new and developing menu.
- Prepare authentic moroccan and oriental cuisine dishes
- Train the CDP and the Commis in the preparation of food
- be proactive in guest enagement and ake feedback from the guests on food served.
- Works with the Executive chef to produce diversified menus in accordance with the restaurant’s vision.
- Practically familiar with HACCP systems, standards and hygiene management
- Ensures that all food served in the outlet respects hotel standards, in terms of quality, taste, portioning, presentation and variety and hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation
- Handles guest concerns or other department concerns in a professional manner
- To produce a consistent, high quality product and provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times.
Requirements
- Degree in Culinary Art or Hotel Management or its equivalent.
- 2-3 years in similar position in a five star hotel
- HACCP certified
- Experience in Fine Dining Restaurant
- Good command of English language
