This role falls under our Shamal F&B umbrella. As Shamal F&B continues to grow, we’re in search of an Accounting Officer to join our fast growing five guys team.

What to expect as an Accounting Officer:

Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statement and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

Core responsibilities include:

• Ensure following of finance and accounts SOP.
• Preparing daily/ monthly journals.
• Sales reconciliation/receipts application.
• Preparing monthly bank reconciliation and updating payables reconciliation.
• Processing of payments to suppliers and overseas suppliers, utilities, and staff payables.
• Assist with the year end and audit preparation and procedures.
• Assist with yearly sales certification audit.
• Assist in handling petty cash and cash Float for the department.
• Monthly statement closure-cost entries/accruals/pre-payments.
• Carry out any other reasonable task as assigned by the management.

Preferred experience and educational qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance – CA/CPA/ACCA professional certification.
• Minimum of 2+years’ experience with accounts, and reporting in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
