Job Description
– Building the SEW brand and value proposition in the countries of the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council).
– Pro-active sales through customer visits in the United Arab Emirates and other GCC countries
– Identification and encashment of replacement business of existing SEW / competitor drives
- Identification and encashment of new projects
- Customer relationship management
- Extension of the existing customer base
– Technical dimensioning of SEW drives, on demand supported by Project Planning teams in UAE and Germany
– First level application support, on demand supported by UAE service team
– Ensure quotes, order processing (first stage) and order follow-up
– Collection of receivables and statutory forms
– Identification and reporting of market trends, sales opportunities and competitor activities
– Participate in relevant trade fairs and exhibitions
– Management of inside sales team member
Skills
– Graduate engineer with minimum 5 years of experience selling SEW or similar products- Product knowledge, especially Geared Motors / Industrial Gearbox affinity would be beneficial- Industry knowledge, especially Cement, Mining, Petrochem, Logistics- Bilingual English and Arabic mandatory- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word and Excel- Quality and accuracy of information, at work- Result oriented, able to prioritize tasks, quick and efficient, able to multi-task- Personal flexibility, Proactive, willingness to take initiative at work, Team player- Willingness for business travels- Driving license for cars
