A qualified applicant joins our Kuwait-based logistics team supporting multiple government customers in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, and Total Asset Visibility. Tasks include shipping and receiving, configuration management, distribution management, training, property accountability, and equipment disposition The position may also complete administrative actions including Personnel Status Report (PERSTAT), Access Requests, Movement Requests, and other reporting requirements.
A multi-functional position includes performing components in logistics, transportation, warehousing, database entry, management, physical inventory, shipping, and receiving. A qualified applicant will become a part of our deployed logistics management team, focusing on accurate cataloging of customer equipment through:
Catalog Entries
Catalog Challenges
Equipment Research
Ensuring compliance with DoD and Army Regulations
Preparing shipments using intermodal methods
Configuration management Inventory, receipt, and issue/distribution
Track and report inter and intra-theater movement program-wide
Process VAR and Housing requests for theater
Assist government with GFLSVs
Coordinate flights to and from theater, including tracking all personnel into and out of theater program-wide (includes all FSRs, MTT, Log, and GS)
Coordinate and or provide transport to and from Ali al Salem, KCIA, and other ports of entry
Coordinate temporary housing on Camp Arifjan program-wide, including access to C-RAM tent or LSA as required
Coordinate for VIP visits alongside FLS Coordinate for and assist in all admin duties as required by the contract for FTEs, including CAC, LOA, Visas, Visa travel, driver’s license, and base access badges
Other admin duties as assigned and required by Government Lead as required and directed
A qualified applicant will possess relevant experience in the inventory and supply management of equipment and systems throughout the supply chain The qualified applicant will possess excellent written and oral communication skills and have proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Qualifications:
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Experienced in Supply and Warehouse operations, preferably within Government or Military operations
Experience utilizing Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) and/or Government logistics databases
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Knowledge of selected computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
Work by, with, and through intermodal transportation assets, including Air Force, line haul, and local contract assets
Experience managing cross-functional teams in maintenance support, transportation, inventory, packaging, and load plans
OCONUS travel will be required
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience using databases such as Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Web Federal Logistics Information System (WebFLIS), or similar Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Experience supporting Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar (C-RAM) products, and systems
Experience using Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS) and Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A)
Experience with a diverse team of logisticians; coach, teach, and mentor approach to partnership
Experience in CRSP, ADACG, A-Distro, and USAF Airfield Operations
