To manage the entire accounting function in Seazen by providing specialized accounting support to the management and to all departments. The Senior Accounts Manager need to support the Director of Finance in planning and organizing resources to perform routine and scheduled functions as well as to respond to questions related to accounting. He/She must manage a queue of priorities and need to supervise, nurture, train all staff Accountants and other employees in the department.
Key Requirements:
Oversee and participate in the daily work and monthly/quarterly close process in key accounting areas, including; capital investment accounts, accounts payable function, reviewing and approving accounts, payable and grant distributions and ensuring accurate recording, payroll function, benefitsrelated expenses.
• Performing account reconciliations, analyses for balance sheet and income statement accounts, trend analysis etc. • Prepare audit requests and assist in the research and analysis of audit inquiries.
• Leading, training and managing members of accounts team and dealing with issues occurring and sorting it in right manner.
• Reviews and maintains financial details for all inventory of Seazen.
• Monitor and review general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accounts are reconciled in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensuring staff are aware with all competitive activities within accounts and preventing attrition.
• Implementing internal controls on all business activities.
• Setting up asset tracker and related procedures to ensure the prevention of any misuse or mishandling of all company assets and enabling a benchmark for new projects.
• Actively participate in reviewing improvements to the Accounting software, modules, and processes.
• Lead the implementation of new modules and tools to achieve cost savings and efficiencies.
• Monitoring and reviewing targets set for the team and provide adequate training to the team to accomplish the objectives.
• Retrieving various financial Reports to the management upon the requirement.
• Maintain deep knowledge of team functions and ensure all team members are adequately trained to perform their assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Setting up policies, procedures and manuals that adheres organization standard and direct the entire team on its compliance.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Maintain discretion and maturity in handling sensitive or confidential data.
• Working closely with different departments and stakeholders.
Experience Required Minimum 9 yrs. Experience in same field.
Education Qualification Minimum of a post-graduation(Commerce)/ ACCA/ICWAI/CA
