Oversee Maintenance Operations: Supervise daily maintenance activities for a fleet of plant, machinery, and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Plan and Schedule Repairs: Coordinate scheduled maintenance, preventive maintenance, and unscheduled repairs to meet project timelines.
Equipment Inspection: Regularly inspect equipment for safety, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.
Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of technicians, mechanics, and maintenance staff within the workshop.
Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of parts, tools, and consumables for repairs and replacements.
Reporting: Generate detailed reports on equipment status, maintenance schedules, downtime, and performance metrics.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in coordinating maintenance activities, particularly for heavy plant, machinery, and equipment in the construction, marine, or industrial sectors.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading a team of maintenance professionals and technicians.
Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Licenses: Valid driving license in Qatar (preferred).
