Will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of utility systems necessary for construction projects. They will ensure that water, sewer, electricity, gas, telecommunications, and other essential services are efficiently integrated into construction plans to support project timelines and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review utility designs, including water supply, drainage, sewerage systems, and electrical distribution networks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate utility systems into overall construction plans and ensure compatibility with building designs.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities for utility installations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide technical support during construction activities to ensure proper installation and implementation of utility systems, including inspections and quality assurance.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and startup activities for utility systems to verify functionality and performance before project completion.
• Maintain accurate documentation of utility designs, specifications, installation procedures, and as-built drawings for future reference and compliance purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in utilities engineering, preferably in the construction industry. Experience with utility design, planning, and construction oversight is essential.
• Proficiency in utility design software and tools. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software is preferred. Familiarity with hydraulic modeling software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to utility installations, including environmental regulations and building codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
