You are required to be on the ground closely monitoring our 24 hours operation and finding new ways to improve the commercial performance of QDF by increasing its turnover and maximizing profitability. You will ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards and will also be responsible for managing staff on day to day basis ensuring excellent standards of customer care are met / exceeded.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Financial knowledge of cash handling, banking and working with budgets are essential requirements for this role. You must be proficient with MS Office and have good working knowledge of other retail IT systems. You should excellent analytical skills and an in depth understanding of financial reports.
You should have minimum 7 years of experience in developing and managing people and enhancing bottom line results. You should have good operational knowledge and experience in customer facing, fast paced business. You should have good knowledge of the business environment in the region and ability to tap into networks to stay updated. Experience working in Middle East; international business or luxury market experience is an added advantage. Prior experience with Duty Free or airport environment is highly desired.
