Designs, evaluates, plans, tests, and operates electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems.
Performs advanced engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems for commercial, government, military and/or scientific uses.
Directs various tests and analyzes and documents results.
Identifies, documents, and evaluates clients’ functional requirements.
Conducts independent technical investigations and provides impact assessments and design recommendations to clients.
Provides engineering subject matter expertise to assigned clients, and may also advise other internal groups.
Reviews, writes, and provides updates to technical documentation and provides quality assurance and review of technical reports and documentation written by other engineers.
Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced engineers and engineering support staff, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
Serves as technical team or task lead.
Recommends major changes in procedures or objectives.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Masters Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
10-15 years of related engineering experience.
Professional Engineer or Registered Architect licensing from any US state, or the equivalent, or
a Project Management Professional certification with a degree in engineering, architecture,
construction management, or building science from an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited university
Minimum of ten years of experience in engineering practice.
Minimum of five years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
Possess good communication and management skills.
Capable of developing cross discipline cost estimates.
Previous experience working in US and Military camps in Kuwait.
Working under management with not less than 5 years previous performance in similar work.
Previous experience working with MEW, MPW and MEP and other Kuwaiti ministries.
Fluent in English and have the ability to speak, read and write functional Arabic.
Must be able to obtain a Kuwait driving license.
Must be able to obtain J-2 badge for all Kuwaiti Bases.
