Software Engineer (Java Developer)

Job Locations: Karachi, Pakistan

Functional Department: Technology

Type: Regular, Full-Time

Working Hours: 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm PK time (night shift)

Overview:

The Software Engineer (Java Developer) will be responsible for writing codes using Java. Should contribute to the development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based business solutions. Artifacts created by the Software Engineer (Java Developer) should meet quality standards set by the company.

Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

• Ensure that code meets specifications.

• Writes code that is easily maintainable.

• Able to debug own code for preliminary testing.

• Must practice standard software development methodologies and standards.

• Enhance, modify, and repair existing code.

• Code, test, and implement configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.

Requirements:

Experience & Education

• 0-1 year of work experience in IT

• Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in Information technology.

• Can develop application in Java.

• Strong development experience.

• Good database concepts.

• Ability to work with Spring framework and Hibernate.

Competency Identifiers

• Ability to learn new tools quickly to get the job done.

• Good Communication Skills.

• Must be willing to take additional responsibilities.

• Ability to learn new tools quickly to get the job done.

• Good Spring framework and Hibernate knowledge.

• JPA knowledge will be a plus point.
