Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for
all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar. The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures
are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, refined products,

FIELD OPERATIONS (IDD EL-SHARGI)
Primary purpose of job
Responsible for all preventive and corrective maintenance activities onshore for all Instrumentation and Control Systems to
safeguard technical integrity and optimize life cycle cost with focus on minimizing risk. Closely work with fellow workers and
other departments to accomplish effective cross discipline knowledge.
Experience & Skills
At least 5 years’ experience in instrumentation and control systems within oil and gas.
To have hands-on experience on PS1 automation systems like HIMA, TRICONEX, and ABB DCS and other ICS systems
like Allan Bradley and Siemens PLCS.
To have Strong knowledge of operations, maintenance, field instruments and controls application activities of C&I in Oil and
Gas field.
Education
BS degree in Electronics, Telecommunication or Instrumentations Engineering or equivalent.
