OPERATIONS READINESS
Primary purpose of job
Provide professional advice, expertise and practical assistance to OV organization in managing ORS Manpower Call-Off
Contract, new tendering / contractual matters (if any) from inception of tender scope preparation until closeout of contracts.
Management of ORS Manpower Call-Off contract by rendering contractual support on resolving disputes, evaluation of
claims, variations and settlement of final account. Ensure that contract strategies, tenders, contracts and variations are in
full compliance with QP’s Policies and Procedures. Ensure coverage of Risk Assessment in accordance with QP’s HSE
Risk Management Guidelines. Ensure compliance with corporate Contracts Procedures and all OV Organization
Procedures (as applicable).
Experience & Skills
1. 15 years multi-disciplinary experience, including 10 years in an oil & gas industry or with major industrial structures in the
preparation/evaluation/negotiation of tenders/contracts of large-scale contracts with complexity and diversity.
2. Possession of sound knowledge of Contracts Law is desirable.
3. Proficient in contractual correspondence, contract verbatim, report writing with analytical, logical, and problem-solving
skills.
4. Thorough understanding of Manpower supply, Project engineering and commissioning and maintenance / operation
related services.
5. Computer literate and able to use this knowledge for contract analysis, evaluation of statistical data both historical and
projected.
6. Well versed in SAP transactions.
7. Quality focus.
Education
BSc in Engineering Discipline or Quantity Surveying. A postgraduate qualification in Contract Management or Project
Management desirable.
