JOB PURPOSE: Supervise CCTV operators in a fully operational control room environment to ensure compliance with local regulations and all QDF policies and procedures. Protecting the interests of QDF by detecting or deterring unlawful acts of interference, theft, damage or fines and supporting in maintaining a safe and secure environment across all QDF locations. Conduct routine patrols to identify poor operational controls and compliance escalating to management for corrective or further action. Provide support to all QDF business units as needed and when requested or required and support in the supervision of contract guarding services ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Monitor and supervise CCTV operators ensuring performance is in line with job expectations and responsibilities.
Monitor security and safety occurrences across and within all QDF locations during shift, respond to incidents and escalate and communicate accordingly ensure all incidents are closed and actioned on a timely bases as per the company policy and procedures.
Liaise, coordinate and maintain strong working relationships with external agencies and authorities in regard to the protection and safety of QDF employees, customers, assets and products, such as, the police, MOI, immigration authorities, Qatar Airways security, airport security and other agencies as necessary.
Build strong relationships and communication ties with all departments of QDF retail, food and beverage, QDF warehouse and all other QDF areas ensuring that QDF and QR security and safety directives and procedures are adhered to. Escalation of identified health and safety, security and operational breaches to relevant parties.
Maintain close working relationships and partnerships with QDF duty managers, supervisors, the cash office team and contracted security personnel to coordinate, report, solve any security related matters.
Monitor the security performance and standards of QDF staff and contractors in line with the specification stipulated by Senior Vice President (SVP- QDF) and Senior Manager Retail Operations (SROM- QDF) to protect QDF facilities against unlawful acts of interference, theft, damage, and negligence.
Produce detailed security handover and shift reports ensuring all security and safety information and data is captured.
Resolve security issues as they arise across 24/7 business operation, effectively Briefing and communicating all issues that arise during designated shift.
Support in the supervision of contracted guarding services ensuring the service provided is in line with QDF requirements.
Ensure regular supervisory patrols to monitor the security and integrity of QDF facilities.
Monitor and validate security and safety policies and procedures across all QDF sites escalating non-compliance to the Security Officer / Manager.
Support in the monitoring, identification and investigation of POS activity and fraud management system, investigating exception reports and escalating non-compliance or integrity concerns to the security officer / manager.
Liaison with MOI and QR security for all theft cases occurring during designated shift and ensure it’s properly tracked, solved as per the company policy.
Escalate all control room system faults for corrective action timely
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
Supervise all CCTV operators and contract security staff during shift. Report frequent absences and disciplinary issues to the Security Officer.
Supervise, validate, implement and reinforce the security procedures.
Coordinate Drugs and Alcohol Tests as and when authorised to do so.

Keep abreast with any market trends and developments
Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.
Train Qatari staff in various duties as per business requirements

Take a direct and personal interest in reported injuries, incidents, near misses and hazards to ensure that appropriate reporting, investigation and response is being achieved.

Qualifications Qualifications and Experience:
High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
Minimum 4 years of job-related experience required
Experience handling a team / group of people
Job Specific Skills:
Essential (i.e. required from day one and critical to the success of the job)
Sound working knowledge of MS Office applications
Fluent in spoken and written in English
Sound understanding of CCTV and access control systems
Good working knowledge of general security operational requirements
Good report writing skills
Sound integrity of character and maintain utmost confidentiality
