A Leading Group is looking for an experienced hydroponic specialsit / officer for their agriculture farm. Person must be able handle all the operations of farm like tunnels, open field crops, Glasshouses and All Greenhouses.

Should have experience in handling labour and field activities like pesticide applications, irrigations and fertigation. Experienced in land preparation for vegetables crops and other seedlings growth in Glasshouses & Greenhouse.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and apply fertilizers and amendments
• Oversee experiments in the greenhouse – learn about experimental design and how to properly collect data
• Oversee proper techniques related to cultivation;transplanting, pruning, defoliation, watering, feeding, and harvesting.
• Manage plant germination and propagation through cloning efforts.
• Develop and adhere to cultivation schedules to ensure plants are healthy and prepared for the flower process.
• Ensure plants are receiving proper illumination, irrigation, nutrients, pruning, and pest and disease control.
• Schedule harvest of plants based on cultivation schedule and plant maturation.
• Ensure that the product is compliant with all relevant regulations and meets all standards established by the state.
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and traceability of plants, including plant counts, both physically and in METRC, and correcting plant inventory discrepancies immediately.
• Facilitate and oversee inspections using inventory and compliance audits.
• Monitor stock of cultivation supplies and equipment and work with Procurement to order supplies.
• Prepare reports summarizing harvest yields and conditions.
• Oversee plant tracking compliance in METRC.
• Stay current with the latest grow solutions and technology.
• Establish relationships with suppliers as needed.

Requirements:

• B.S. or M.S. in Horticulture, Plant Science, Controlled Environment Science
• Minimum 6 months of work/internship experience in horticulture, preferably in hydroponics or leafy greens and herbs
• Pesticide applicator license preferred
• Ability to work independently in a highly collaborative team environment
• A high level of ownership of agricultural operation
• Drive for innovation and continuous improvement
• Ability to problem solve challenges and use available resources
• Excel proficiency
• Extremely well organized

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rs45,000.00 – Rs60,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sheikhupura: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hydroponic: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Pesticide applicator license preferred (Preferred)
