Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE is currently looking for a Head of Accounting to join our Finance team. The Head of Accounting oversees all activities of the accounting and tax accounting department and is involved in the supervision and management of general
accounting activities, analyses, business partnership, and the maintenance of effective internal controls while ensuring statutory compliance in all accounting initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce effective and correct accounting methods, policies and principles in line with Porsche and VW Group
  Accounting Standards and IFRS, and ensure necessary compliance. Continuously evaluate and improve internal accounting and
  related processes and controls .
• Manage financial, reporting and systems interface (SAP FI/CO, PIA, PURe and Vokus ), including all related sub-systems (GLC) and
  data processing systems to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness.
• Ensure accurate and timely internal and external financial reporting. Support Head of Controlling & Risk with internal reporting,
  budgeting, forecasting and adhoc matters.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting functions in PME, including leadership responsibility for direct team
  members. Support in their daily routines and ensure their professional development. Define annual performance targets for the team
  and conduct Appraisals.
• Establish and enforce appropriate methods, policies and principles related to Tax and Customs in line with directives. Continuously
  monitor and evaluate to improve internal the processes and ensure the compliance of Tax and Customs regulations and law.
• Manage the corporate and local bank accounts, in compliance with the PAG Treasury directives and guidelines, and local banking
  regulations, incl. Global cash pool system, in liaison with PAG Treasury and Porsche International Finance; Ensure that Treasury
  reporting process in PME in line with the prescribed deadlines and guidelines of PAG Treasury.
