We are currently looking for a Project Manager to be based in Kuwait. Responsibilities

• Ensuring that EPC Contractor comply with all contractual requirements.
• Oversight of EPC Contractor’s resources responsible for Offshore Construction, ensuring that clear goals are set, and these are aligned to the Project goals.
• Ensuring that EPC Contractor’s resources are sufficient and competent to execute the work.
• Initiate and manage Project continuous improvement processes.
• Establish effective communication interfaces with EPC Contractor, Sub-contractors and other key stakeholders in the Project.
• Establish cost and progress management systems, reporting methods and procedures consistent with the EPC Contract requirements and ensure delivery in a timely manner.
• Arrange co-ordination meetings with the EPC Contractor on a regular basis.
• Issue progress and information reports to Project senior management as required and receive and distribute to the Project Management Team all relevant communications with adequate guidance where action by others is required.
• Lead initiatives for cost saving and business efficiency improvements to deliver optimum commercial performance to the Owner.
• Functional management ensuring systems are in place to manage holidays, expenses, and training and performance evaluation.
• Provide notification of any potential commercial risk or opportunity to the PMS Project Director for further action.

Qualifications

• BSc in Engineering in the appropriate field
• Fourteen(14) years’ experience in engineering, procurement, construction, contract administration, coordination and Project support activities for major Oil and Gas Projects
• Functional management, leadership and teambuilding skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
