The Bid Studio Director will manage the Bid Studio which comprises of a team of high-performing employees engaged in multiple technical and/or administrative functions to deliver compliant, complete, and compelling submissions to Parson’s clients.
The primary duties of the incumbent are to
– oversee the work performed, ensuring it meets budget, schedule, and quality requirements, and
– serve as a Senior Bid Manager for major pursuits of strategic importance to Parsons

Skills
Essential requirementsMinimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, English, Business, Communications, Liberal Arts, or related field.10+ years of related experience within a similar industry, including extensive experience in a supervisory or lead capacity.Experience of preparation and management of large proposals ($100M+) from start to finish. Strong working knowledge of the Shipley’s method and other internationally recognized proposal development policies.Must be able to demonstrate commercial acumen including pricing activities.Detail oriented.First class leadership and motivational skills.Must possess excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as outstanding organizational and time management skills, and be capable of leading a small team of employees.Proficient in utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to produce, or provide guidance for the production of, documents and presentations in a demanding time frame.Must be able to inspire outstanding work from team members with a range of experience and technical abilities in the development of proposal documents. In addition, he/she must be capable of adapting to changing priorities in a very dynamic work environment and demonstrate the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy to effectively resolve quality and production problems in stressful situations with critical deadlines.The individual is required to work on multiple assignments, with overlapping schedules, and needs to be able to multitask and delegate responsibilities to team members to accomplish all tasks.
