Be the liaison between the project team and project clients throughout the project life cycle.
Handles the projects assigned to him and coordinate with Contractors, Consultants and sub-contractors.
Coordinate with Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Project Planner, Project Engineer/Purchaser, Architect and 3D Visualizers for projects related issues.
Support in ordering materials for new projects especially for company shops’ renovation/new projects.
Proper risk management is performed at the site to reduce project risks on execution and deliverables
Coordinate with Accounts team for payments for the materials made and organize deliveries to store/sites with the approval of Head of Department.
Closely work with Head of the Department for progress reporting and direction to be taken to resolve the hurdles during construction.
Raise an alarm the management for possible pitfalls which might affect the completion of project or changes that affect the total cost.
Perform site visits and meetings with Site Engineers, Foremen and Contractors to make sure the progress at site is happening as per the schedule. Any changes to be updated with Project Planner regularly in order to adjust the schedules and keep the team informed.
Provide support to the Architects and Engineers for technical solutions for any obstruction that threatens the progress of the project. Organize meetings with all team if necessary to bring the project back on track.
Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or similar.
3-5 years of experience as a Project coordinator or similar role.
