Job Purpose
Coordination of the Project controls processes across OQ E&P projects, under Manager, Project Control & Planning by applying Project Controls procedures and setting Targets to ensure Project control standards are implemented across all projects. Monitoring the implementation of project control requirements to assure safe implementation, monitoring project performance and execution over the Projects Life Cycle both with respect to the schedule, actual/physical progress, Cost and Budget whilst also suggesting corrective steps in case of deviations related to project control standards; in order to effectively contribute to the technical and timely delivery of all projects. Promote and maintain a project control conscious environment throughout the project execution cycle.
The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justification’s, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
Key interactions
Internal: Liaise with colleagues within Projects, functional leaders and other internal stakeholders for day to day work.
External: Contractors, vendors, national government offices, external consultants
Notable Working Conditions. Office environment, frequent travel, and visits to the operational sites. Moderate to intensive computer screen use.
