Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferably in Finance/Accounting, OR Two years college Diploma in Finance/Accounting or in an allied field with 2 years of experience. OR Specialized certificate / license e n the related field with Secondary School certificate and having 6 years of WY experience in similar functions.
knowledge of Oman Corporate Tax law and VAT laws
Delivering VAT/Tax reporting, ensuring Tax compliance and identifying risk. Minimising compliance issues. Ensuring all aspects of TAX transactions are captured correctly (e.g. in an ERP system). Ensuring all month end processes are actioned on a timely basis.
Assist section head with preparation of all adhoc MIS reports as necessitated by senior management for monthly / annual reporting and audits conducted from time to time.
