Job Title Assistant Manager – MOD Control Center.Development Engineering Educational Qualifications Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar field) with 10 years of relevant work experience preferably in Aviation Engineering and Maintenance with 5 years of relevant work experience in Development Engineering Division.
OR ICAO Type II licence with 10 years of relevant work experience with 5 years relevant work experience in Development Engineering Division.
Previous held Managerial position is an advantage Skills/Knowledge – Financial knowledge
– Negotiation skills
– Strong and broad knowledge on Aircraft systems and Aircraft structure Repair Manuals is highly desirable. Experience Required As mentioned in Educational Qualifications Job Location Muscat Job Description 1. Efficiently and effectively, plan, organize, co-ordinate and control MOD Control Centre team in order to achieve high quality technical standards on mandatory documents acceptable to airworthiness authorities and the Company.
2. Ensure all mandatory documents requiring inspection or modification (AD/EAD/ASB/Company Mandatory) released by trade leaders are implemented as per compliance date and company policy via AMOS.
3. Central point between Development Engineering (DE) and Aircraft Planning Control (APC) with regards to MOD’s implementation, inspection requirement on AD/ASB/and other mandatory documents.
4. Communicate continuously with APC to ensure that MOD’s or inspection stipulated by the Authority are planned and implemented in timely manner.
5. Provide feedback to DE trades/ Senior Manager Development Engineering (SMDE) on compliance plan and provide information/briefing on difficulties encountered and action taken for successful resolution to the problems.
6. Discuss with DE trade leaders along with Mod Control Centre Engineers to understand the compliance dates of the mandatory documents and their criticality after document release in AMOS (APN 63).
7. Monitoring of AMOS Technical Assistance raised through the system pertaining to the Mod Control Centre, their status on AMOS dashboard and their closure rate.
8. Provide assistance and direction to Engineers (focal) during external and internal audits on DE department.
9. Release authority of Mandatory documents registered and verified by trade leaders in AMOS in lieu of SMDE on his/her absence.
10. Quarterly Mandatory documents compliance status report to SMDE.
11. Any other tasks assigned by management.
