JOB SUMMARY – Ability to work within Aftermarket environment. – Ability to travel as needed (less than 5%) – In process & Final inspection at vendor premises to ensure the integrity – Extensive walking and standing. – Sitting at desk for extended periods of time. – Ability to work extended hours as required. – Good communication and technical reporting skills. – To adhere to NOV HSE practices and Policies inside the workshop. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES – Receiving inspection of RFE Equipment. – Hands on experience in Hardness, MPI, LP inspection is must. Knowledge in handling measuring tools, Thread gauges, Hardness and NDE equipment. – Preparation of Inspection reports, Retrieval of Drawings, Technical specifications and Reports from Engineering and NOV Portal. – Establish Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for assigned product lines/projects. – Monitor projects from start of assembly to final test (FAT) to shipping. – Review all purchased products or components and provide input to the decision to accept the product and future purchases from the Vendor. – Review of data books and approve before shipping to client. – Manage NCRs for product line/projects. – Active participation in team Root Cause Analysis, Product NCR Disposition and input to management for continual Improvement – Training and Implementation of QMS in shop to achieve the API Q1 and ISO9001:2015 certification. – Prepare the management report and statistical data analysis to support Regional QA Manager during API/ISO Audits. – Perform vendor assessments as required and in conjunction with Purchasing department. – Active member of the internal audit team – Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. – Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS – Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with min 2 years’ experience. – MPI, LP Certification. – AWS or CWSIP 3.1certificate added advantage.
