LOCATION: Portland, OR (Downtown)

SALARY: $75k+ per year (Direct Hire)

SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:30p

INDUSTRY: International Logistics

THE ROLE

The International Account Manager is primarily responsible for preparing detailed project proposals and cultivating and maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships. This position will include domestic and international travel (Bahrain, Guam, Malaysia, etc., post-COVID) and is the entry point for a position on the senior leadership team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Become an expert in multiple product lines

• Learn the basics of international logistics

• Prepare detailed project proposals

• Cultivate and maintain vendor and customer relationships

• Maintain organized paper & electronic files

• Work closely with the CEO to resolve issues as they arise

SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES

• Enjoy interacting and cultivating relationships with colleagues and vendors

• A history of success tackling problems head-on and developing practical solutions, partnering productively with the team with conflicts arise

• Proven ability to independently manage a varied workload

• Excellent time-management, advanced organization and analytical skills with strong follow-through

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook

• Effective communication, especially written
