• 5+ years of Hands-on experience with virtualized server administration (VMware, Windows 2016/Hyper-V, Citrix)
5+ years of Hands-on experience configuring/deploying Microsoft Windows servers using Windows Deployment Services or VMware templates
Windows scripting language (Python, PowerShell, or VBScript)
Experience in designing and configure HA and DR systems for windows and Citrix systems
Hands on Experience in managing XenApp and XenDesktop.
Five or more years progressively responsible for the design and implementation of Wintel and Citrix.
Citrix Certified, MCSE certified.
Experience working with MS SCCM and other System Center products.
Knowledge of storage technology as it relates to virtualization
Knowledge of network technology as it relates to virtualization
Possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of associates
Nice to Have:
Experience with Dell / EMC Isilon, Vplex, VSAN and Data Domain systems.
Experience working on data center migration projects.
Experience working on application/platform migration projects.
VMware Certification and work experience.
1.Primarily responsible for the design, implementation, and support of solutions related to Citrix projects and initiatives.
2.Responsible for performance tuning and providing a high availability XenApp environment to eliminate single points of failure.
3.Installation/Configuration/Managing XenApp and XenDesktop virtualization
4.Design, plan and migrate legacy environment and supporting upgrades.
5.Administering Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) 7.x or later versions
6.Configure and support NetScaler and Access Gateway solutions to support scalable delivery of applications
7.Assist L1 and L2 teams with Citrix XenApp/Xendesktop VDI/client Issues
8.User Profile Management
9.XenApp/Xendesktop resource Capacity Planning and Optimization.
10.Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
11.Accurately maintain all documentation as it relates to configuration, processes, service records, asset inventories, topologies, administration manuals, job instructions, support contacts etc.
12.Build and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell
13.Provide technical analysis, resolve problems, and propose solutions.
14.Support security administration (group policy and permissions; vulnerability scans, audits, and mitigations; patch management)
15.Implement Group Policy Objects (GPO), DISA STIGs, ePO and ACAS implementations and continuous monitoring
16.Must participate in the weekly rotational after-hours on-call support. Must be available for after-hours on-call 24×7 support.
