The Event Sponsorship Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, and fulfilment of sponsorship sales for our upcoming international events. The company is part of bigger event management corporation which is currently expanding internationally and organizing events within a variety of different industries: Metals and Mining, Technology, Commodities, energy and Fashion and expanding in Dubai, Europe and Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent business relationships with prospective and existing clients to gain sponsorship for international events.
Cultivate and manage strong business relationships with current and potential sponsors.
Contact prospective companies and individuals to initiate the sales effort.
Schedule meetings and prepare, customize, and present sponsorship sales proposals to potential sponsors.
Follow up on leads generated by outside sources.
Meet and exceed projections, schedules, timelines and KPIs set by the top Managment.
Deliver requested information and deliverables A-Z to potential sponsors in a timely manner.
Create sponsorship marketing packages for events.
Smartly manage sponsor, partner, and vendor relationships via excellent communication
Negotiate and compile sales contracts and agreements.
Lead or assist in the negotiations of building sponsors portfolios.
Assist in the preparation and design of sponsorship sales brochures, pamphlets, advertisements, or other sales materials with the help of production team.
Voluntary work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to achieve the targets.
Requirements
We’re looking for people who have proven sales skills at the highest level and can demonstrate determination and a drive to succeed.
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with prospective/existing clients and strategic partners.
Goal oriented and sales focused with a customer service mindset.
Strong time management, organizational, and project management skills
Previous experience with sponsorship sales
Willing to work hard and go the extra mile.
Flexible and adaptable
Able to multitask on a regular basis.
Comfortable and successful working with diverse groups of people
Self-belief and determination
Degree in relevant field is not essential but is a plus.
Compensations:
Basic salary 5-7K AED + very attractive % commissions on sales + performance bonus
Working Hours:
48 hours per week, 5 days/week, may need to be flexible due to the project deadlines/country/time-zones.
