Leads the Housekeeping team and manages all team members related matters including, recruitment, performance management and staff development.
Audits and Inspects all Housekeeping activities to ensure the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel and hygiene and safety standards are consistently upheld.
Prepares and submits weekly and monthly Housekeeping Reports
Ensures wastage is controlled and stock control policies & procedures are followed by all housekeeping staff.
Oversees the management of hotel linen through accurate record keeping and investigating and resolving and losses/ damage to hotel linen.
Ensures all Housekeeping Operating Equipment are controlled and managed in alignment with company procedures.
Qualifications
Diploma in hospitality management
6 years working as an Executive Housekeeper or similar management role preferably in a medium to large hotel with luxury experience.
Must have experience in controlling budgets and managing departmental costs of a Housekeeping Department.
Must be Computer Literate and experience in Opera will be considered an advantage.
Fluent in English.
Strong Leadership Abilities and Organisational Skills.
Excellent Interpersonal Skills with an Eye for Detail.
