MIDDLE-EAST Jobhunters Hiring for Facilities Manager at Muscat, Oman Full Time

We are on the lookout for qualified and highly competent candidates for the position of Facilities Manager to join our client’s Hospital in Muscat, Oman, to oversee all building-related activities.Preference: Candidates currently in Oman (or with GCC experience).The applicants are required meet the following qualifications –

• Proven experience of minimum 8 years in the field as Facilities Manager or relevant manager.
• Candidates with considerable experience in tertiary healthcare settings including in the GCC are preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed institution.
• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Good analytical/critical thinking.

Your responsibilities include –

• Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments.
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards,
• Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
• Supervise all facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors.
