McDermott Hiring for Subcontracts Specialist Job at Şuḩār Full Time

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Project Subcontracts Manager (day to day) and the Area Subcontracts Manager functionally
• Coordinating high volume of work scopes within tight timeline.
• Coordinating any dispute on claims with Subcontractors in consultation with Project Subcontracts Manager.
• Administering Project Subcontracts tendering process, which include allocation of resources to meet the planned timeline
• Responsible for the assigned subcontracts packages management for budget and cost including monitoring on expenditures on payment approval, changes, and negotiate any disputes for the best position of the Project and Company in accordance to the contracts provision.
• Deliver reports required by Project and Function
• Interfacing and Coordinating with the PMT and Client to manage the Project schedule requirement including responding to the adhoc requirement.
• Identifying and managing all Subcontracts deliverables and critical milestones.
• Coordinating, monitoring and managing the Subcontractors quality and safety performance.

• Good negotiator and excellent market knowledge (Sohar, Oman)
• Successfully handled high workload and high value/ risk subcontracts
• Good work quality standards
• 4 years of In-country experience (Oman)
