Job Summary
Identify & implement cost optimization opportunities in raw materials, merchandize, TG&S and packaging by working in close coordination with procurement global team, market/country managers and business development so that the company can invest in growth and people.

Negotiating with external vendors to secure cost and Service advantageous.
Ensure all legal agreements are in place for new & existing suppliers
Agree sourcing plans and implement timely purchases to meet organization requirements
Source appropriate suppliers, assess competencies and invite offers, evaluate supplier offers and seek technical evaluation from internal stakeholders
Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Establish, track and deliver aggressive cost management targets and performance indicators to demonstrate value for money from the strategic procurement services
Constant exploration of sustainable suppliers and initiate sourcing partnerships.
Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
To carry out reviews of all key procurement actions, considering learning points to be carried forward and disseminated
Challenge internal stakeholder demands, needs and wants
Identify spend categories and internal stakeholders responsible for those categories
Lead and undertake value analysis and engineering
Undertake supplier and spend analysis
Market analysis of strategic products
Business case and sourcing analysis including make or buy/Outsourcing or insourcing studies
Stay up-to-date of changes in procurement best practice and legislative compliance
To support negotiations with preferred parties, where contracts are significant
To support performance and contract management, where contracts are significant
To undertake any other duties in order to meet personal, team and organizational objectives, following consultation with your manager
Master data maintenance
Create & maintain the needed vendor data
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/ procurement, business, or chemistry
SAP & MS Office knowledge
3-5 years professional experience in procurement
Cross-functional understanding in R&D (technical), QC & supply chain is important
Comprehensive understanding of value chains & how it affects costs
