Supports individual managers and/or functions with advice on internal
and/or external communication matters and acts as point of entry to
communication services as a whole. Leads other communication employees.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing innovative and engaging marketing and communications campaigns and projects aligned with our organizational strategy and objectives and fashioned for the Bahraini market. You will be expected to increase the reach and impact of APM Terminals Bahrain’s profile and visibility through the delivery of high value and influential marketing and communications locally, regionally and globally.
As Marketing Communication Manager you influence, engage and support in developing the Marketing & Communications strategies for internal and external stakeholders. Focusing on:
Develop, evolve and execute a clearly defined Marketing Strategy in line with the company’s goals and ambitions through driving local marketing whilst ensuring a global marketing approach, brand management, content coordination, supporting in sales enablement with the right marketing materials and coordinate, prepare and execute presence of APM Terminals at events and conferences.
Develop, evolve and execute a clearly defined Communications Strategy in line with the company’s goals and ambitions, via campaigns, leadership communications, employee engagement and media relations.
CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors or master’s degree in communications, marketing or related discipline.
8+ years of communications and marketing experience.
Experience in an international company and in a related field is desirable.
Solid understanding of modern Marketing and Communications trends and their impacts to the business.
Proven track-record leading and developing teams.
Proven ability to understand customers and infusing the knowledge into the outcomes.
Proficiency in branding, content marketing, social media activity, Office 365, CRM systems, like Salesforce.
Excellent communication skills (clear, persuasive, collaborative & influential) in both written and spoken, English and Arabic.
Enjoy working in a global organization and think across functions and borders.
Ability to track & trace and drive a project, campaigns and initiatives to completion.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Open minded, positive attitude and high drive to succeed and break through barriers.
Ability to effectively manage stakeholders.
Experience with working in virtual project team and working with external consultants
