Key responsibilities
Commercial:
- Build and maintaining client relations, negotiate new projects and contract terms
- Meet and exceed KPI and sales target
- Focus and strategize plan to execute LnS opportunities
- Possess deep knowledge of business product offering and value proposition
- Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
- Resolve customer issues by developing innovative and tailor-made solutions and communicate with overseas offices
- Attending networking events and build industry connections
- Conducting market research
- Monitor tender nominations, commitments, terms & conditions with an objective of increasing share in line with business goals
- Submit detailed EXIM report as and when the management request for
- Regularly preparing competition rate levels, submit business plans when required
- import (Reefers and Dry) report to stakeholders
- Follow the guidelines and rate strategies received from trade and management desk
- Prepare trade performance reports and presentations and regular management reporting
- Monitor allocations and shipments of client portfolio on a weekly basis
Customer Experience:
- Monitor Vessel cut-off details for import manifest
- Monitor system Issues/Errors
- B/L Release confirmation & approvals
- Manage CX reporting Documentation, Transport KPI reports from HQ Turn Time Compliance & correction reports
- Handle queries from Maersk ACM on costs and revenue, report feedback to UAE CX manager
- Customer connects to drive NPS results
- Periodic CX meetings, communicate on CX related matters with origin locations
- Manage invoicing deadlines and communication with IBS
- Monitor D&D audit
- Focal point for Waivers
- Monitor Long Stay container process of CS desk
- Lost B/L process handling
We are looking for
- Appropriate university qualification
- 5-10 years experience in shipping with managing and leading teams
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent approach in prioritizing time-critical tasks
- Experienced in setting sales – goals
- Result oriented with strong analytical skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Self-motivation and commitment, ability to work without any supervision
- Reporting and presentation skills
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
