Our client is a leading bank in Bahrain seeking to hire a Credit Risk Analyst. The Credit Risk Analyst will identify, monitor, and analyse credit risk issues for assigned credit applications and portfolios, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess credit proposals, highlighting risks and recommending enhancements per bank policy.
• Evaluate borrowers’ financials and assign appropriate risk ratings.
• Ensure credit documentation meets quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Identify early warning signs within the portfolio.
• Build strong relationships with business partners.
• Adhere to turnaround times in service level agreements.
• Ensure comprehensive credit applications include all necessary information.
• Advise business units on addressing gaps in credit applications.
• Independently evaluate critical risks and provide recommendations to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in credit risk, understanding the full credit cycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of credit risk policies and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
