Job Description:
The Sr Specialist – Sales / Account Management is responsible for business development, marketing, customer relationship, and closing orders in Qatar, including the TCOM radios, GCS integrated systems, GCS SATCOM, BCS ISR datalinks, and IVS night vision portfolios of the CS Segment. The Sr Specialist Sales/Acct Mgmt works with key customer accounts to provide product solutions, system solutions, develop new business, and to maintain positive ongoing relationships. Represents the company to the customer in all sales-oriented activities. Responsible for identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing opportunities to sell company products, systems and/or services to customers in assigned accounts to meet annual operating objective (quota). Manages account opportunities in customer relationship management (CRM) database and updates regularly to represent current state of opportunity pipeline.
Regularly travels to customer sites to develop, manage the relationship between the organization, in-country partners, and customers by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals. Works with marketing, sales engineering, product management, engineering, contracts and in-country partners to implement sales strategies with respect to pricing, competition, collaboration, delivery, and terms of sale. Develops tactical and strategic direction for market opportunities and presents a compelling analysis for capturing business. Provides regular updates to senior sales / operations staff concerning account issues financial status, etc.

Account Management/Sales for Middle East (Qatar) market covering tactical radio communications, ISR datalinks, SATCOM solutions, dismounted electro-optical products, and land, air, and maritime C4ISR systems
Qatar presents a tremendous growth market for L3H both in the short and long term. Key opportunities will require multifaceted strategies & coordinated campaigns with US government stakeholders, in-country partners, defense industry, military stakeholders and civilian governments. The Sr Specialist Sales/Acct Mgmt will be responsible for establishing, executing and when necessary adapting these strategies to secure near term business while developing the longer term, higher value opportunities. Since this market has strong domestic defense industries, collaboration on product manufacturing and potentially product development will require extensive coordination with product line management, product engineering, program management and export compliance.
